This is my favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant of all time. Their consistently tasty menu selections, boosted by attractive, friendly and engaging hostesses are a boon to St. George take-out dining.

Excellent choice of food which is very unusual to see in an Indian restaurant. I tried the orange fig salad and tandoori mix grill and then moved on to a main course dish of lamb saag and chicken tikka masla. The breads where heavenly. In all, we had a great experience in terms of good food and grea...

Food is Fair.....Prices are a rip off...Owner is arrogant. This place was a joke. Frank Fresca was right about this rip off pasta place.

The problem with this place is that the food is NOT consistent. At times, the curry was good. At times, I wanted to vomit. The service is lousy, the prices are a rip off, and the staff has a bad attitude. I would bet that this dump doesn't last until Christmas.

The curry had 2 layers of oil with a very funny taste. Next to Chirag, the worst Indian food on Staten Island. This place is a total Rip off. They name have a 3 for 1 happy hour.

good food and service. I went in for the happy hour with my girl friend who was reluctant at first but the moment we got in we were sold and spent almost 3 hrs enjoying every course of meal that we ordered. ps. I am sure The Indian Clove is making other indian restaurants in the neighborhood run ...
The food is delicious if moderately priced. As far as the review concerning the service -- I find it highly inaccurate. I have dined at Tokyo many times and have never once experienced a problem with being understood or with receiving the incorrect order. The people are friendly and very nice. Overa...

We ate there last week. 2 for 1 cash special. Service was very good, but a glass of seltzer was $2.50 with NO refills. The salad was terrible and the pasta tasted like sheetrock. It's a shame the city doesn't close it.

A beautiful restaurant with great foods and services. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I definitely will go there as often as possible with my friends. I love it.
Love the place! My boyfriend and I go there a lot. It is romantic and the staff, food, and sangria is the best!

Had dinner 4/16/09 the restaurant is cozy. the food was decent, except the crabcakes had more filling than crab. the wait between dishes was too long.m Otherwise this is a nice place. I would go again and recommend to others

One of the worst food i ever had in an Indian Restaurant. On the top of it, the service is very, very bad. The owner is very arrogant. One server is very rude. I will not go back again.

Good lord, the food here was amazing. The portions were worth the money, the quality of everything from the complimentary appetizer to the main courses were actually outstanding. Went with a party of 5 for dinner and we had a great experience. The service here is wonderful but...yea, a little we...

Who the HECK do they think they are charging those kinds of prices? Umm...excuse me, Angelina, your restuarnat is located at the end of Staten Island, not Midtown Manhattan. Get over yourself. She walks around the restaurant like a pretentious annoyance, hob-nobbing with everyone so your sure to kno...

DINING AT PORTOBELLO WAS A MONTHLY RITUAL FOR MY FRIENDS AND I FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE QUALITY OF FOOD HAS DETERIORATED. THE 'DA BEST CHICKEN PARM' WAS HORRIBLE. THE MANAGEMENT LOUDLY AND PUBLICALLY BERATED A WAITER ON THE OPEN FLOOR UPSETTING MANY PATRONS. ALSO ON ANOTHER OCCASSION, DURING A...
