The Stockyard5 star(s)

Yep, said the old Stockyard regular returning for the first time in a few years. Still got the same smell. Still looks the same, too: same red leather banquettes, Tiffany-wannabe lamps, big green glass and brass chandeliers. Same salad drowned in dressing. Same really good onion rings. Whoa — the "world famous" barbecue baby-back pork ribs look smaller. Uh-oh. Whew, they're still meaty and crusted in sauce. Why don't we come here more often? The prime rib is still a hefty hunk of well cooked meat, too. Loyalists will be glad to know that the carnivores' castle, on the site where America's first stockyard once stood, hasn't changed a bit.
