The Grill Room, a casual restaurant/bar in Chicago, arguably has the best steak in Chi-Town. Also, if you do like to have a few drinks here and there, you will not be disappointed because they seem to be a bit heavy handed while they're pouring (if you know what I mean). They also appear to have ver...
I have eaten at the Chop House ten-plus times in the past but had not been a customer in the last few years. It was once my favorite place to eat in Chicago, but after last night’s visit, I have resolved never to return. Evidently others have come to the same conclusion, in that the dining room and...

Was looking for Al to walk in also! Fantastic old Chicago feel!! If you are in Chicago, make this your first stop!
All I have to say is chain. It's fine for discount happy hour appetizers, but this restaurant is the Chi-Chi's of Southern cooking. If you want GREAT N'awlins cookin' go to Heaven on Seven.
A place to take your sweetheart or your customers to have a wonderful meal - been there more than 10 times in visits to Chacago. It has great food and as it is in an old mansion, there are many small classy rooms - so you can enjoy the evening without having to shout at everyone. Also do not rush yo...

Good food, service and presentation; made my guests (customers) comfortable; nice atmosphere - class, some dishes seemed expensive (maybe not by Chicago standards); nice live backround jazz; backround noise level lower than most of the popular sites.

One of the country's best steak houses. Old time Chicago. Great crowded bar with lots of hussle & bussle. You'd think Al Capone was going to walk in any minute! Don't miss the garbage salad.
First time round the steak was extremely overcooked, second time it was better but vegetables remained from first time and were cold! Service was poor - difficult to attract staff - took over 10 minutes before we could tell them about the steak. Sat in non-smoking area but had to move tables, alon...
This restaurant is always on the top ten in the country. It is in a rich Chicago decor. The service was impecable. A true dining experience. Nothing but the finest meats. My favorite is the prime rib. It isn't roasted here it is grilled just like the steaks. You can plan on at least $30 on the entre...
Biggs is a very nice old Victorian house converted into a restaurant. We have been there several time and have never been disapointed. You can expect to spend around $125 with a bottle of wine. Our last visit 10/99 we spent $225, which was not so bad after the $333 we spent at Charlie Trotters ...
We don't visit Chicago without an evening in Gibson's. Have waited an hour for a table with a reservation and still no complaints! Outstanding lobster and steak combo.

Great old fashioned restaurant - if you want something out of an old Chicago setting movie, this is it. Usually a wait, but sidle up to the bar and people watch and the wait is worth it. The servings are plentiful, with great steaks. I haven't tried the pastas, but they also seem to be huge portio...
