Great Chicago deep dish pizza!! It hasn't been around since the beginning of time....but they have it figured out, and alot less wait time. Lots of flavor to the pizza with plenty of toppings, and the owner actually spends time in the restaurant and we were able to meet him. Definitely go back ag...

I have just visited this restaurant 09/19/2010. I have been going to this place for years and have had many great meals with family and friends. My experience this Sunday was fine, but I think I may have been over charge on the bill. It wasn't by much, but as I compared my order per the on line menu...

Was looking for Al to walk in also! Fantastic old Chicago feel!! If you are in Chicago, make this your first stop!
Excellent food and service. this is a long time family owned business and that alone should tell you that the quality is consistent. I would recommend Monastero's for any function. You will not be disappointed.
I knew it! I told my girlfriend he wasn't Italian! He told us he was! He couldn't even pronounce "gnocchi" or "bruscetta"! He's got postcards from Greece on the walls and he pretends to be from Italy? What a sad clown. It wouldn't matter, if he made good food. If the food were fresh and nic...
I know exactly what that last review was referring to. The owner here actually PRETENDS to be from Italy! Can you believe that? Evidently, he's been able to make a fool of his own customers for years. Isn't that just weird?
Recently a dear friend visited us from Sienna in Tuscany. I thought it might be fun to show him our local take on his country's cuisine. We first tried to get a reservation at Mia Francesca's but were unable. My husband suggested we try Fly Me To the Moon, which is very near by. O.K. Fine. So I ...
FMTTM is a perfect example of a stale concept. A restaurant whose time has come and gone. A Cigar Bar in a City that no longer allows smoking. That's just a sad joke. The days of Tech-bubble millionaires smoking big fat stogies, talking too loud, and acting like jerks are long gone. Thank the Lord...
My spouse and I have been to Primo many times and we love the food and the people. We are always treated very well and I love the food very much. I am a carnivore so I find Primo very appealing. I dislike mushrooms but I love the mushroom sauce Primo puts on its pasta. The other sauces are just ...
This place was just AWFUL. My husband and I chose what they call 'The Feast' which is their all you can eat option. 1. They bring you Pao de Queso (Cheese Bread). Our was cold and hard. 2. Then they bring you pasta covered in three different sauces; garlic, marinara, and mushroom. Again, we got ...
You would find better "food" in a sewer. Or at the Cook County Morgue. The decor looks like a Greek Whore-House. There is a thick layer of grime and dust everywhere. The bathrooms stink like human excrement. If you want to see who is handling your food watch the owner let in the homeless drunks at 4...
The food is totally nothing special. First they feed you with bread and pasta to get you a feeling you're full and then bring meat and salad. Salad is just a bunch of leaves and two tiniest tomatoes, meat and chicken are dry and not marinated enough to give it some taste. Chicken tasted like it was ...
My experience both recent and historic is less than favorable albeit memorable. my friend and I had reason for celebration and thought that perhaps the only Italian restaurant in the neighborhood had improved over the years. Ever the optomist I thought I would give it a try. Optimism in this ...
The food was amazing, the service seemed confused. I was asked what kind of salad dressing I wanted, but received no salad. My entree came with the wrong sauce.
OK dinner, paid way too much for three bites. Only think I liked was the music. Belittling server made my wife think she was not dressed for Cornelia's. Blah

Great small italian restaurant. Good menu selection and specials. My family has enjoyed several meals here.
My wife and I visited Chicago from Omaha on the labor day weekend and stopped in Sat. Sept 1st 2007. Waitress very freindly and knowledgeable. we ordered a brick oven baked sausage pizza , it was magnificent. Fresh herbs fresh ingredients. This pizza was awesome. We also ordered the meat sauce spagh...

The best Italian restaurant in Stafford that's for sure. The wine list is extended with mostly Italian Wines. The service is very amicable and prompt.
On Friday Apr. 7 a colleague and I looked for a restaurant where we can sit outside. We found the Cornelias Restaurant located on Cornelia and Halsted. So, please take it as a kind of warning. If you are hungry and you think a Dinner for two which contains one Salad as the starter for both of us,...
