My husband and I have been going here for a while and we love it! They are all so nice to us and they call us by name. The food is great and we come here often! Just a small family owned restaurant and that is what makes it so much more friendly than the chain restaurants!

What brought me to this restaurant was the window painting that said Breakfast Burritos .99, I thought I would give it a try. I placed my order at the counter and was given a total of $29.90 for five breakfast burritos. I asked how much they were and the waitress said $5.50 each. I though ok that...
Great authentic food and best green chile ever, but the service is pretty bad. I suggest take out!

Their menu says they are open till 9:00 p.m. on Sunday but they actually are closed at 8:00 p.m. Needless to say they lost out on a HUGH amount of money for false advertising.

I have been to this dinery many, many times and they are not all that friendly. They very rarely say hello when seating you. The food is good, but if the food is awesome and the service is not so good, then the food is just okay.
Las Potrancas has a good range of regional styles, not just Norteno, and they use good, fresh ingredients. Low "glop factor," and not too much cheese, especially in the Jalisco-style seafood dishes.
But it's the tortas, or Mexican sandwiches, that I love the most - especially the carnitas one.
