While the trout cheek appetizer didn't quite make it for us (overdone cheeks, floury sauce) the sushi was indeed "to die for." Of course, it may be that coming from Chicago our taste buds weren't used to such freshness, such melt in your mouth consistency! It ruined us for whatever sushi we get he...

Best lunch spot on Market Street 4th. floor view down market 4 star food 2 star prices!
Great sandwiches and coffee! The staff is friendly. Small but cozy. Huge windows swing open on a sunny day. Beer, wine and even Sangria are the highlights for the evening crowd.
Don't get fooled by the road house exterior. The Bonanza has a full bar and serves a great lunch. The seafood and burgers are very good, and Thursday is prime rib Thursday. Lunch is 11 to 3. Steve

I had heard from a number of people that this use to be very good. We decided to try it. Bad idea. The place looks great with huge leather sofas, the service is nice...... but the food was horrible. The sauces unedible. One of the worst places I have eaten in SF and highly overpriced.

We've tried several items on the menu at Buca Di Beppo, and while some are good at best, have decided on one which we find to be not only great, but a great value as well!Order the "Fruite de marre",and ask for the bread, which is served with olive oil for dipping,a large size is more than enough for 4;...

Family style the way it should be. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and good family style. The wait can be long, but it is worth it.

First introduced to this place by my brother who has a business account with them. Loved the buzy atmosphere, it seems almost ever inch of this place is decorated with nostagia(pictures, statues, actual vintage ladies toiletties and undergarments shadow boxed on the wall of the ladies room.)The menus ...

The best restaurant in San Francisco! Friday night is their specialty - the Crab and Veal Dinners are exceptional! Must try Johnny's bread.. will cost you a little extra but it's the best bread in the city!

A gluten free menu that's actually gluten free! This is some of the best food with the most mindful and educated staff ever. I'm grateful!

This place is not only a good place to eat but to have fun. Most of the dishes have a lot of garlic. Thewaiter are like part of your family. Delicious food and FUN FUN FUN! I was with a large group on 11/13/04 and the waiter told us what we were getting. I swear the waiter was either Robert De Niro or his twin. He seemed to be having too much fun. We asked him if he was Robert de Niro and he laughed replying, " I wish". As we left I...

Capps has very average Italian food. It seems to cater to the tourist crowd who do not know about the other great Italian restaurants in North Beach. I would not recomend eating at Capps. Try anyplace else in North beach and you will do better. The only think worth eating there is their creamy it...

Try the Eggplant Parmesan, its the best in the City. I am a long time San Francisco resident and Capp's is one of my favorite restaurants. It does get its share of tourists, but also has a steady stream of loyal locals. When you are looking for a solid, casual, unpretentious, huge Italian dinner, ...
