I had dinner here tonight and was surprised. My friend who works at the Pasadena Playhouse recommended it to me. I went with my friend and we were greeted my this very nice young man. He seated us by the window, I like that there is still some restaurants that offer booth seating. There looked...

Went there for lunch and the food was excellent and a good price. Like the vegetables used in their tempura are huge and very good. Their spicy tuna rolls are very very tasty. I'm surprised I haven't heard about them because me & my friends frequent Japanese restaurants, but now I know!!!
First time trying their pupusas and it left me wanting some more. My hubby is out getting me some. Oh and the agua de frutas is soooooo goood!!!

Burrito express, will you marry me? Forget all the haters below. They say you aren't "real Mexican." But, do you know what? They aren't real "real Mexican." They're just real jerks. Bean and Cheese. Chicken. Keep it simple and keep it real, Pasadena. Courtesy of Bri B
I LOVE EATING AT DOMENICOS. THE PRICES MAY SEEM A LITTLE HIGH BUT YOU DO RECEIVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF FOOD FOR WHAT YOU PAY. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO ENJOYS ITALIAN FOOD.

Excellent shabu-shabu served by an engaging chef. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Japanese food. Certainly ranks with far more expensive restaurants we have dined in. Food is always fresh, pleasingly served, and subtly spiced.
This is the best Mexican Restaurant you will ever find. The food is perfect it's so good your brains will fall out. Everything about Mijares is great. A full bar. Food prices are very reasonable.

Saladang is among best Thai restaurants in the LA area, with exceptional cuisine for everyone at affordable prices. For lunch, choose from the reduced "Lunch Express" menu, offering small salad with peanut dressing, great entreés and ice cream for under $8.00.

Gale's has great food, with imaginative specials, wonderful service, and an excellent bar, at a very reasonable price. Gail, or her husband Rene are usually at the door to great the guests, most of whom they seem to know. This is a very friendly restaurant and many of the customers seem to be regula...

This amazing Pasadena eaterie is not to be missed. Gail and Rene and their warm, friendly, professional staff always make you feel welcome, but are never intrusive. Everything on the menu is spectacular, as are the specials. And there's a full bar and terrific wine list. I only wish I lived clo...

The Spinach Lasagne is a dining experience. Have to be tasted to believe. I was told the regular lasagna is as good or better. How could that be.

Starting with Rene the French husband of Gale; he is the Maitre De. A great guy gives the kiss on each cheek to my wife and a sincere handshake with me. Not phony; a sincerely friendly man. Food is great ,small bar is homey filled with regulars. Good servers especially one particular waitress a pet...

I'm responding in particular to the fairly recent very grumpy one-star review. I think this is the kind of place where the better you are, the better the experience is. Meaning? Well,it's not a chain, so some nights the service is really personal, charming (these darn Frenchmen!) and caring, and ...
