This restaurant closed in 2002 but I used to work for the family back in the 1970. I'm thankful to say I held on to the recipes!

I too have missed Mag's Ham Bun in the Valley. I used to go to the Tempe and Payson locations many years ago. I would give anything to have those recipes!

Went by 1st street to see Mags and was so sad to see it gone! I wanted to hear the bunnies and beanies hopping! What ever happened to ...

I worked there 3 times and loved the food every bit as much the last time I had it as I did the first time, when my family moved to Scottsdale in 1957. I managed the store on Shea in the early 80's. I still make bunnies and beanies at home! But they are never as good. You actually need a food slicer...

So, where do I get that recipe for a great Mags Ham Bun?
This is a good place to hang out after a game of golf. Food is really good.
this restaurant is a quaint place to take the kids (very very kid friendly) and if you like it loud w/o any privacy. i really enjoy eating there and you will always see the same faces. not somewhere to go if your trying to get away from it all!
