Restaurant Description
Neal's Restaurant has been serving Texas Country Cookin' in Spring, Texas since 1986. We specialize in home-style cooking and make most items on our menu from scratch daily. We're best known for our hand-battered Chicken Fried Steak, Crispy Fried Catfish, Cajun-Grilled Seafood, Fajitas, slow-smoked BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, and Neal's own Sausage recipe. We're also known for Stuffed Shrimp, Crawfish Etouffee, Buffalo Burgers, Chili, Cajun Onion, and our famous Homemade Pies. We've also got Steaks, Sandwiches, Salads, and Kid's Meals. Neal's has such a wide variety of food types on the menu, everyone is sure to find something they'll like. We offer a daily lunch special including one meat (chicken-fried-steak or "entree of the day") with 2 veggies, a homemade roll, and dessert for under $6. We feature All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Pork Spare Ribs every Tuesday. Come on in and treat yourself to a homemade meal. Casual dining atmosphere. Families and groups are always welcome. My family and I recently moved to Spring and were told by my neighbor to try Neal's. It was the best meal we have had in a long time. My kids loved the homemade cookie they got with their meal. My husband and I both adored the homegrown fried zucchini appetizer. The chicken fried steak was the best I have had anywhere. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was very Texas. Neal, the owner, even came to our table to see how we were doing. To top off our evening we took a piece of the homemade blackberry pie home with us. It was a perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience. My family and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and coworkers. This was our first time there....but it certainly won't be the last!!!

Worst dining experience in 12 years. To preface this I travel 4 to 5 nights a week and have eaten out all over the US. The food was cold and the service was just as bad. The staff also blinked the lights on my family and my parents that night. I guess they wanted to go home after such a bad display of food service. To add insult to injury the waitress hit me with a 15%. So I asked her to have Neal give me a call and left my cell number on the ticket, it has been 2 weeks and I have not heard from Neal. To bad Neal, not only did you lose customer but everyone I talk to will hear about my experience.

Excellent food!!! Tried everything on the menu at this point, including purchasing several pounds of meat to cater a party and it was all GREAT! Very tender, flavorful meat and sides are also delicious. They have outstanding stuffed baked potatoes
