This is, IMHO, the best Sushi/Japanese restaurant in the area. Although the ambience reflects it strip-mall location, the food is the important thing here. The Sushi is top notch. Toyo does not just fake it with a few glorified California rolls or lox draped over rice balls, they arfully prepare a wide variety of items. With this type of ethnic food now being sold at grocery stores, it takes a particular attention to freshness and detail to raise eyebrows, and Toyo does it. If you have a member of your party that gets grossed-out at the idea of "raw fish", that's o.k. too, Japanese quisine tends to take the tasty elements of oriental cooking and Westernize it with it's liberal use of charcoal grilling, and Toyo has a menu that reaches far beyond sushi. The pricing is probably a bit higher than what most people expect at a standard Oriental restaurant, but in this case you get exactly what you pay for. That why I would still rate Toyo at the higher level of value.

They have very good sushi here. I lived in SoCal for four years and got hooked on it. This is the best sushi I've found around here. I think it is reasonably priced as well.
Make sure to try the super white tuna.
