I AM A FORMER EMPLOYEE AND MUST SAY I AM BLOWN AWAY BY SOME OF THE REVIEWS. YES FISHMONGERS IS A BIT PLAIN IN THE AMBIANCE DEPARTMENT, BUT IT IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE TASTE OF THE FOOD!!! EVERYTHING IS FRESH, DELIVERED NEAR DAILY. THE RECIPES ARE HOME COOKED FAMILY TRADITIONS, AND THE SERVERS ARE WARM FRIENDLY PEOPLE. I CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU ANY RESTAURANT WHERE THE SERVERS LEARN YOUR NAME AFTER ONLY A TIME OR TWO IS SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU KNOW YO ARE CARED ABOUT. I WAS AN EMPLOYEE FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND CAN PROMISE YOU THAT THEY ARE THE BEST GROUP OF PEOPLE I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. THEY LOVE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND TREAT ALL OF THEM EQUALLY MAGNIFICENTLY. NO CUTTING CORNERS. THEY WANT TO SEE YOU BACK! SURE SOMETIMES THERE ARE OFF DAYS, BUT...
