Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
I have been at this restaurant many times; yes, there is usually a wait; but the food is always good and the staff do the best they can to accomodate you as fast as possible. They are very supportive of children dining with you. No complaints. This restuarant compares with other Olive Gardens I have eaten at (and there have been a lot)

The best German food around...authentic food and German beer. After a meal here you'll never go back to Waldhorn! Super friendly staff and owners. It's well worth the trip to HKY!
I do not know what person left those two 2* reviews, but we think it's the most authentic and most wonderful German restaurant we have ever visited on the entire east coast.
I have been to Bavaria and when we moved to Hickory was delighted to find a German Restaurant. It has become one of our favorites. The food is extremely authentic and they have excellent German beers and wine.
Simply not good! Greasy plates of slop! Service was rude and rushed.

Captain D's is amazing. It's a very classy place too; I took my wife there for our 25th Anniversary and she loved it.
Best selection of spirits, wines and beer- period. Great food in a warm pub setting. Try the fish and chips- great!!!!
