Goose & the Gander Restaurants
I just returned from a wonderful trip to New England and found a great little place on Rt. 6 in Thomaston called The Goose and Gander Restaurant.They specialize in seafood and I had the baked scrod which was fantastic,as were the baked stuffed shrimp! We shared the california salad and had a piece of the homemade apple pie for dessert,Yummy!They don't offer beer or wine,but you can bring your own.The service was very good and our sweet waitress gave us lots of info on the area.We wish we could go back!Maybe they will open one in Mi someday!! Take out only. The BEST Hot & Sour soup I've ever had. Won-Ton Soup is also excellent.
