Prana Restaurant
Prana is a very unique space, large, tall ceilings, white marble floors and walls, with wooden buddas, elephants and other statues throughout. The music is mellow but upbeat. The waitstaff is very friendly and knowlegeable. The food was an interesting mix of Southeast Asian, Indian and California cuisine. Lots of small plates, like crab cakes pakora, yam fritters and yin & yang tuna tartar with plaintain chips. My favorite entree, I think, is the lamb adobo with forbidden rice, but the Tandoori pepper steak with whiskey sauce was pretty amazing as well. On weekends, the restaurant turns into a dancefloor after 10PM, so it's fun to go in late and hang out for the club afterwards.

What a lovely restaurant. My husband and I went there on a weeknight and were treated so well by the staff, it was as if we were the only people in the place (which was definitely not the case). We started off with ...

GORGEOUS WHARF AMBIENCE, THE BEST EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA EVER, IMPRESSIVE WINE LIST, THE PLACE HAS A COZY, FRIENDLY FEEL. EXCELLENT AND UNSTUFFY SERVICE.

Food- mediocre, Service- apathetic. Manager- extremely rude.

I never thought I liked Indian food. The flavors were always so overwhelming and much to "busy" for my poor American palate. Then some friends took me to New Delhi. Apparently I've been eating bad Indian food my ent...

Overpriced, smelly and really disapointing food. Burnt food and hearing lady moan at chef not to use Microwave... Really Really one of my worst dining experiences ever

A group of us dined at New Delhi Restaurant last night and everyone at our table said it was the best Indian food they've had in San Francisco. This was my 2nd visit to New Delhi and the food, atmosphere and service...

Ok my husband and I arrived there late on a Tuesday night. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. THATS how crowded this place is. But we didn't care. We love Indian food and were excited to try something new. Plus...

Well the place is boom (loud noisy overburdened during a few minutes of lunch, and then often a crypt during other times, even prime weekend dinner). When it is slow it doesn't mean the service gets better -- the w...

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The "house" wine was $9.50 a glass. It was early in the evening, the place was only 25% full and they had no beef. We orderd chicken and ended up paying $100.63. To boot, t...

We travel to San Francsco two or three times a year and always try to work in a visit to New Delhi Restaurant. Our most recent visit was during the first part of Double Happy Hour and we were happy as could be.

This is an awesome place to eat in Cole Valley. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Great to share a few dishes with a partner or to take the leftovers home. You can make two meals out of the portions ...
