I have eaten here before numerous times and have had really good experiences...not this time. Although the food...once we finally received it was very good...it was a loooong time coming. There were 6 of us...one was a 1 1/2 yr old baby...they nailed me for automatic gratuity of 16%...pissed me off. I gladly tip 15%...there are lots of seafood restaurants here...will NOT be going back.

Wow! Unfortunately this restaurant offers the poorest service one can imagine. The food is marginal at best and over-priced. Unbelievable, really. This restaurant will not survive. No way.

I ate at the Astor when I came to Corpus Christi in 1970. It is still the best place to eat in 2011. The best steaks I ever ate , very friendly , and clean.

Food was EXCELLANT! We had the oysters and the bar b que salmon salad was the best. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They took thier time explaining the menus and we never had to wait for a waiter to get refills.
