Treasure Island Restaurant Guide

New owners took over this place in January 2012 and it is now better than ever. Excellent food, great service and very clean. An Old Florida atmosphere.
If you are uppity or high class you may not like this place but everyone that is normal will love it

Fun! Fun! Fun! Daniel the bartender was excellent. He kept us entertained, made great drinks, served us promptly. I sure hope they hang on to him. The food was really great for the price!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO GO THAT HAS THE BEST CRAB LEGS ALL YOU CAN EAT, AND YOU DONT HAVE TO GET DRESSED UP, YOU FOUND IT. JUST A SIMPLE SHIRT WITH YOUR FLIP FLOPS AND YOU WILL BE FINE. IT IS A FUN PLACE TO GO WITH THE COLDEST BEER IN TOWN. WE HAVE A BLAST EVERYTIME WE GO. WE GO AT LEAST 2 TIMES A MONTH AND EVERYTIME HAS BEEN A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

All I can say is AMAZING!!! Specials every night. Tuesdays and Thursdays all you can eat snow crab, it just keeps coming and coming until you say stop, which you don't want to do. If you are in Treasure Island Florida this is a MUST!!!

If you are looking for high brow class, don't go. This is a laid back, casual, fun sort of place and the catfish is the best, so are the hot dogs. Mike, the entertainer on weekends, is outstanding.
Just a down right good hole in the wall sort of place.

You are wasting money going here unless you wanted to be treated, served, and fed like crap.

The R-Bar is not a good place to take your family. The service was poor, the food was what you pay for.........if you are on vacation, don't spend your money here. Our server said the "GD" word several times. We had kids with us. The food was very generic, and it smelled.

This place is awful and very unclean. The servers are rude and profane. We had children with us and the server kept saying the GD. Don't go there.

We love the R Bar! Great food and Wayne the manager is awesome. Lana the owner is a sweetheart. You got to try this place, you won't be sorry.

They are quite nasty....and I wouldn't waste my time...ever going back....

I found the R Bar at the advice of a friend. He suggested that I go to try the specials. I went for the snow crab and I have been back to try every special within the last two weeks. I enjoyed them all. The only negative thing I have to say about the specials is that the prime Rib "appeared" to have been sitting for a while and then when it was heated for service it became over cooked. The staff is great and I would recommend you try it. VERY casual and no need to dress. I like it that way.

Exceptional food from quality breakfasts to Tuesday/Thursday all you can eat crab legs! Daily entertainment always a hit. A must try! Once you eat here once you can't stay away! We've brought family and friends who now make this a "must visit" restaurant.

good omelettes for $4.00. Always a good experience for not much money
