We just happened upon this restaurant by accident. My husband and I stopped in for a drink, the bartender, Ross, was so funny and nice, we decided to stay for dinner. Thank Goodness we did, it was fabulous, this is truly a gem hidden down there in the center of Taunton.

This place is a pit, the regulars are all junkies and drunks who live in the owners transient apartments. there are 7 registered sex offenders living in the buildings above and out back they sell drugs. this is not a family restaurant or kid friendly

Pub 76 is a diamond in the rough!! The food is excellent & ranges from lobster to burgers. The service was excellent & the prices are very reasonable. There known 4 there fish & chips which are the best in town. I would def recommend trying this diamond in the rough!!
We have discoved a wonderful place to go. We live two towns away and often come here for dinner mid-week with our children. The food is consistant, and the service is great.
The chowder outstanding and the prices reasonable. Thank you for remaining one of our favorites!

Is it true you do not take credit cards!!!! My husband and I wanted to try you out and when we saw the sign on the door no credit cards we left.We did not get to the bank and was going to use our card. Sorry to say had to go elsewhere.
