Pizza Palace has taken a serious turn for the worst in the last 5 years!! On a recent trip with friends, which was against my better judgment in the first place because of the bad experiences I've had before but my friends wanted to go there, I made the decision that I would NEVER return!! I ordered the fried catfish and it was served to me raw (still pink and rubbery) so I sent it back. The waitress brought me back the same fish that I had sent back. They had thrown it back in the oil, they had even RECOOKED THE PIECE that I BIT OFF OF AND one of the other pieces had a fried mosquito on it!! I was disgusted! I then told the waitress to take it back and that I didn't want it. When we went to the register to check out I told the girl that I was not paying for the fish that I did not eat because I had to send it back twice and ended up not eating because I was appalled at the fact that they threw the piece of fish that I took a bite of back into the oil! She called for the "manager", who is the owner's wife, and when she came to the counter she said "I'll have to speak to the owner". I said "Okay but it doesn't matter who you talk to I'm not paying for what I didn't eat!" She came back after a good 5 minutes and never even apologized, she said "we'll take it off but this is the first time in 5 years" I then told her the reason I sent it back both times and she said "We don't cook a whole new plate when someone sends something back" (but you just said this was the first time in 5 years!!) I said "So you RECOOK FOOD PEOPLE BITE OFF OF!?!?" I never actually got an answer to that question, I guess it was then she realized she was wrong & didn't want to admit it! This started an argument between her, my friends and myself and I told her to just ring up what we had eaten and we'd be leaving. She said "I'd suggest you chose somewhere else to eat" to which my friends and I responded "oh, don't worry we've already decided we will not be coming back!" Then she asked if it was all together or if we were paying separately. When we said separate, she mumbled under her breath "Huh, can't even afford to pick up the whole tab." Needless to say I will NOT be returning there, ever and would not recommend it to anyone!!!
