We went to this restaurant with a certificate we purchased from Restaurants.com. We had never heard of this place before and thought it was worth a try. After a fine meal, we presented our certificate to our server and she returned it to us, explaining that "we don't take these anymore". We had already eaten, and made certain to spend the amount required by our certificate, and now we were told that the certificate would not be honored. We spoke to the person in charge and he adamantly refused to honor a certificate that we had bought in good faith and told us that we would have to pay the entire bill.
This is a deceptive practice that upset us very much. The argument, embarrassment, and eventual payment, ruined our entire experience at Leonardo's Ristorante. Because of the shabby way we were treated, we would, of course, never return here again. We cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
