Always love the blacened salmon....Its the best in the area. The service seems much better than I had at previous visits. The Guacamole is awesome.

I have eaten here several times. The food is typically not good. Salads are AWFUL, nothing but lettuce, menu is mostly sandwiches, and they are not too good. Too many sandwiches, white bread only, no wheat, rye? No other dishes that stand out. Nice deck in summer, and that's about all that's good. Food is okay at best.

A great little place on the Pine River to check out if you want your food messed up and get ripped off! Don't forget about the lazy staff that sit around and play trivia. This place is NOT a must try.

Love the new changes, the cheyanne burger was awesome! We watched the red wings game while playing trivia. Too much fun!!!

peper joes has a new menue. i love it. the service has improved emensly. the dining room has huge tv's now. i hear they are getting buz time trivia. it is a must try turn around.

Had bad experiences here before, but heard about a new menu and had to check it out. Well, nothing has changed. Horrible service, food and ridiculous sized tvs. If you wanna get ripped off and have your food cooked bad for lunch then check this place out.

Great little place on the River. We tried the spinach/artichoke dip on a suggestion from our server, Joy, and it was the best we ever had! We're new in the area and this restaurant is going to be one of our faves.

If you like 5th graders waiting on you, food that tastes bland as air (and that's if they aren't out if it) at prices that are insane, then this is the place for you. Should be called Empty Joes. Go to Golden Corral for a better meal. Yeah, it's on the river, but who cares when you're eating bad food?

A group of me and my friends went to pepper joes a little while back for dinner, the restaurant was empty so then we figured the food would be good and fast... not the case. The ribs were a pathetic portion and they were cold. Famous baby back rib? I think not, they should be sued for putting that on the menu.The burgers were rare.... we wanted them medium well. The shrimp and crab fettuccine was awful the shrimp tasted like rubber,and to top it all off it was the owner of the restaurant cooking! He would not come and talk to us! We will not be returning after this experience.

Where do I start? This place was horrible! Service was very slow and rude even from the manager. Food was awful for the price and tasted like it came straight from the freezer! Bathrooms smelled bad and the whole place needs a new paint job! Color choice is awful! YUCK! Will never return with my family and recommend the voyager for a better experience.

Had lunch there for the second time. Reuben sandwich very sloppy and very small side portions. But, overall, not bad for the money.

We eat there frequently being from the area. We always enjoy the deck in the summer, watching the boats on the Pine River going out and coming in from the St. Clair River. They have the best waitress there named Liz, service with a smile!! We request her if she is working!

Ordered pan fried perch....very greasy. Oleo with baked potato. Shame on them. First we were told it was butter. No way !!! Then admitted it was OLEO. Baked potato was perfectly baked and salad was good. Early Bird prices a +. I'll be back, hopefully to some changes.

Wonderful place for the locals to hang out on the deck to enjoy good music, good food, and good drinks.

Great dinner once again, glad to see the music was back on the deck! We had the best service from Lisa, she made the night very fun. Our kids love this place, they are in the kids club and get a free dessert everytime they eat their whole meal. Would suggest this place to familys!

My wife and I frequently eat at Pepper Joes, we've always enjoyed it. Their food is good, cooked properly and seasoned nicely. If you've not been there before I recommend the nachos or fajitas they are excellent! They also have spicy cajun babyback ribs that I really enjoy. Their burgers are some of the best I've had.

They have a wonderful deck you can sit at during the warm months that overlook the Pine River. Its very peaceful.

I'm from Cleveland and hit Pepper Joe's once every summer when we're vacationing on the lake in Port Huron. It's OK, nothing special, but it's a fun place to go and eat outside on the river. I just wish Michigan were non-smoking so I could enjoy the atmosphere more. If Ohio and Cleveland can me non-smoking, Michigan certainly can!

I dined for dinner On Wednesday night the 2nd of Jan. The service was wonderful and very friendly. The food was great I liked picking my sides from the menu. I will go back for dinner and bring my Parents.

I have dined here many of times for lunch and dinner with the proximity being close to work. Not only do they mess up orders frequently, give little portions for the money, but, the service is pretty bad. The only positive is they are on the river and have a good view. The lunch menu is horrible, very little to choose from. For the lack of restaurants in St Clair, they are not taking advantage of the lack of competition.

Family met there for dinner recently. It was hot and stuffy inside and the quality of the food was below par. Steak was dry. Limited selection of beers. Bathroom was dirty. Service was excellent and cheerful.

My family and I dined there just recently and I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner. The kid prices where too much for what they got. Can I say, Kraft Mac n Cheese???? Tasted old. My 4 year old didn't even like it. On to the adults...French Dip was overdone and dry and the steak fries were overcooked as well. Also, the bathrooms were filthy. If you want to go for an adult beverage, this may be a great bar or hang out for those hot summer nights. Sorry we will not be going back.

I like cajun joes, with guacamoli, its really good, and I like it alot. I really like it. I think that the cajun joe is really good. cause it has cajun on it

fabulous night out in st. clair. we were greeted by the owner- don harwood upon arrival. food outstanding, the service was prompt, professional with a very relaxing feel.the music added to the full experience.can't wait until summer too dine out on the deck

They do have great perch...not their forte but really good all the same. Great service...can't ask for much better, anywhere.

I had the pan fried perch...and it was excellent. The service was the same...the girl was just as helpful as could be but not "at your elbow" all the time, either. A must try.

Southwestern dining with a good menu selection. Its location on the Pine River is certainly an attraction and adds to the dining experience. Some of the best TexMex cooking in the area.
