Worst experience my wife and I have ever had in a restaurant at their MERRICK, NY location.
Poor service, rude treatment.
Will never patronize again and neither should you!
We came here for a pre-set Holiday Dinner for 2.
A male diner at the table behind us was talking non stop in an unreasonably loud voice about politics to his table-mates. His talk was frequently interspersed with racist remarks about the President and others.
We asked our waitress after 30 minutes of listening to the man with the loud voice to ask him to lower his voice as his voice level was disturbing us. She returned with her male boss who refused to identify himself by name or title (Owner? Manager?) when requested.
He refused to ask the loud voiced diner to lower his voice and told us, "The man is a Senior Citizen and seniors sometimes have hearing problems and talk in a loud voice to compensate."
The Owner? Manager's? solution, have US MOVE to another table.
We refused. Got up and left after paying the bill for what we ate.
Positive the bill was a retaliatory rip-off for speaking about the unpleasant dining experience we were having -- $31(!!) for 2 Soft Drinks, 2 Appetizers, 2 Soups without Dinner or Dessert. Never shown the Ala Carte menu to determine if pricing was legitimate.
Speaking further to the Owner? Manager? and complaining that as NON SENIOR CITIZENS HE WAS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST US he told us, "Never come back to my restaurant again".
We told him that we had no plans to ever return because of his and his staff's poor service and lousy attitude.
