We have been dining at Paisano's for over 15 years and have found it to consistantly be one of the finest dining experiences in Albuquerque. Their specials are particularly good. Paisano's can be compared favorably with other fine dining restaurants here in Albuquerque or Santa Fe for that matter.

Terrible experience. Our waitress took forever to come see us, and then she was mumbling about a mixup. Sorry we were so much trouble. I asked for water and she brought it and then removed our wine glasses. Huh? If you have water you can't also order wine. She never mentioned the specials to us, although I heard her rattle them off to the diners next to us after we had already ordered. She then served my husband's salad to me even after she had asked if I wanted a plate to share and I declined. She then set our entrees in front of a different couple, they pointed out they weren't what they ordered and then she gave them to us. Ewww. They were congealed. WHen she gave us our check, she tried to give me a doggy bag that belonged to another couple. No thanks! And the bathroom was nasty. The toilet seat was wet and had pubic hair on it.
I will NOT be returning there!!

We went expecting a wonderful Italian meal and we were very disappointed. Although, of the 4 of us, 1 meal was very good, two were OK, and one was poor. The meatball in my spaghetti had one side that was so hard, I could not cut it with my knife. There was also some very hard items in the meat that felt like bone chips. We waited about 45 minutes for our main course, which, instead of all being served together, was served 2 plates and 2 more with about a 5 minute wait in between. The salad and soup dishes were left in front of us for the 45 minute wait. The empty bread basket was never removed or re-filled. All in all we had a very poor dining experience.
