I am a regular at this restaurant, and the food is always fresh and excellent. I have had Calamari many times in my travels, including Greece, but none of them compared to here. The Calamari and the Greek salad are just excellent. The makes his own Greed dressing and its the best.

We have eaten at Olympia many times. I agree that the restaurant is dated, the furniture is old and some seating is quite tight and you can't have a private conversation as the tables are so close. The prices are on the higher side but the food is always delicious, the staff are great, there is usually never any waiting for another drink and it is well worth it when you have some extra money.

Over the years living and working in the St. James area we have eaten at Olympia. In the nineties, we had them provide lunches for our office staff and the owner was always willing to give us a great deal, the food was ready on time, and hot and delicious, with portions being ample.

A few years ago (4) we asked them to cater our son's rehearsal party. The food was fabulous, so much so our guests cleaned us out in one hour (boys in the bridal party) so we called for emergency replenishment and they had it ready before we could get there to pick it up. Everyone raved about the quality and taste of the food and the party was a hit. The cost again was very fair. Wouldn't hesitate to ask them to do it again.

About the same time as our son got married they did some major updating of the restaurant interior. It made a huge impact on the ambience and the over all experience and we have become regular diners at the restaurant as well. The product is consistent and the service overall is friendly. They know their regulars and it has a nice neighbourhood feel to it. They added a patio for outdoor summer dining and that is a nice extra in the summer.

We travelled to Greece a few years ago, and whenever we want to go back for a reminiscence of our trip we head to Olympia. The walls are decorated with the owner's paintings, vignettes of their homeland, the music is authentic and the food is every bit as good. They also have a number of North American dishes for those who are looking for that.

You won't go away hungry.

I found the food quite good, fresh and full of flavour. I had never been to the restraunt before so I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was quite good, very quick and friendly. The restraunt itself is a bit dated but nonetheless clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for someone who is in the mood for excellent and authentic Greek food. My only complaint is that the prices seem to be a bit high from what most other Greek restraunts charge but still worth. Definately check out this place when your in the St.James area.

We are regulars at the restaurant and the owner knows that. We ordered food for take out, and they gave us a potato instead of fries (we really wanted fries, and they didnt even give anything to put on the potato, nothing! not even butter) and I talked to the owner and he was extremely rude about it, wouldnt replace the meal, and was just over all an ass. He offered "free" fries the next time we came in. Big deal, we paid for those fries, how are they free?

This place has no clue how to treat regulars, the management/owner would rather lose a regular than replace a meal.
