My family and I have been customers of the Old Heidelberg Restaurant since we moved to San Antonio in 1995. This is by far the best German restaurant outside of Europe. And Carlos and his family help make the place extra special giving it the "family" touch. I belong to a local dining club of 12 couples and have brought club members to this restaurant on numerous occasions over the past 12 years. In addition, have recommended it to office co-workers, friends, and visitors who want the feel of Old World Europe and Germany.

My friends and I used to go to New Braunfels for good German food until we stumbled across Old Heidleberg. The food was great - authentic and a reasonable price.
