Vallejo Restaurant Guide

I have been a Nujos customer for a few years now. My Mom one day ordered a pizza from here, and ever since day one, I was in pizza love. I have to say that you have not had pizza until you have had Nujos. Unfortunately, people who don't live in Vallejo across the country cant have this heavenly pizza experience. I swear, Nujos is the best!

I love pasta and during the past month I have twice gone to Nujos and had a spaghetti meal. Both times I was satisfied. The place was clean and quiet (not that many customers). I like Olive Garden a little better, but this place happens to be closer to where I currently work.

We order in. Nujos used to be good until a few months ago. We don't know of many places you can order with as much selection, however though the selections look good on paper they now disapoint in reality. The Carbonara was overcooked to the point where the noodles were almost as soft as the sauce. The Chicken Parmigiana was burnt and inedible, the Piccatta was not the meat it claimed to be. The Pizzas are still decent though. If I knew of another place to order from I would not order from Nujos any more.

I THINK THE SALADS ARE FRESH, BUT FOR THE PRICES WHICH ARE A BIT STEEP THE PORTIONS COULD BE A BIT LARGER TO ACTUALLY BE WORTH THE COST! THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE ADDING A 15% TIP TO THE CHECK THEMSELVES! ISN'T THERE SOME WAY TO REPORT PLACES LIKE THAT OR IS THERE NO LEGAL LIMITATIONS? TIPS SHOULD ONLY BE EXPECTED IF THE SERVER WAS EXCEPTIONAL IN MY OPINION!

we have been customer of nujos's since they were on springs rd now that moved to georgia st and have change various manangment the moral and customer service has went down or last order was the worst everything was over cook or bruned we tried to call magement the foolow day he said preety much oh well!!!! you should of call the night it happen

Since there are so few good restaurants in Vallejo, Nujos is a place I visit frequently. The last dish I had, the Chicken Picatta over rissoto (sp?) was quite good, though a bit heavy. They are located in a converted KFC drive through, so the ambience is pretty weird.

One thing to watch for though, is that they include a 15% gratuity on all dine in orders. Pretty unethical I think, since I double tipped the first few times I was there!

They also had very good breakfasts, but like all good food in Vallejo, it couldn't last!
