Union City Restaurant Guide

I go every friday or so for a cheap lunch with my friends, its not meant to be a super exclusive high class restaraunt. for us West New York natives, its basically just like a mcdonalds or burger king. Its just a chill spot to eat, hang out and the food is cheap, really people, think about it, you get what you pay for.

Food was just not good, not good at all. Place had plenty of people but I guess that does not mean the food is good.

They just don't know how to cook, if it's not fried, they just don't know how to cook. Everything was overcooked and or burned.

I had eaten here years ago, I don't remember it being so bad.

My wife told pick a different place but I did not want to, I am not too big at trying new things. I should have tried her suggestion instead, I blew $80.00. She wanted to go to Sancochos Restaurant.

Horrible! The service completely sucked and the food was not all colombian style cooking. I ordered arroz con pollo and it was more like arroz con vegetables with a couple of small pieces of chicken. No flavor whats so ever. My husband had the bandeja paisa and it was horrible..I felt bad for him. They only thing they should be allowed to sell is there empanadas..that was the only thing with flavor.

the restaurant is always so busy. so anybody expecting 5 star service should go look somerwhere else. the food is good, the price is good, its clean, my food came out fast. Is a good place to eat.

I went to Noches de Colomiba on Sunday, June 8th at about 9 pm. I've never had a credit card stolen (they claim my card was given to "another customer"), but not only they stole/loss my card but situation became worse by the irresponsibility and disrespect of the cashier and the waitress. They lost(?) my credit card but took no responsibility at all. When I asked the cashier to give me the name of the restaurant's owner, her answer was "I don't know who the owner is." I had to call the police and make a report. This restaurant should not be handling credit cards from other people, this restaurant should not be allowed to charge customers by credit card; this privilege should be removed from Noches de Colomiba.

Great empanada Spot! I usually order in large quantities (50+) for parties and they are always fresh and ready within a 30 minute call before pick up. Always a hit!

The fooad at that Specific Noches de colombia is not good, and the service is worst. The other day my friend and I went to eat there and they did not bring the soda until we said it was billed but not brought. The best Noches de colombias is in 56 (not so sure) visit that one!

The food was not too great, yes the portions are generous but it was not good food. My family and I had 5 entrees and none were done right.

My meat was huge BUT paper thin, it was dry and tasteless. All in all, I would not go back. I prefer eating Colombian food that taste Colombian.

If you want to eat a ton of food that don't taste very good then try this restaurant.

Yes, they do give you a lot of food, but it sucks. The meats are pounded paper thin so that you feel like they are giving you a lot of food, the seasoning is not too great.

It's more like a bunch of hype, I was there with my family and it was some of the worst food I've had.

I should have listened to my girlfriend and gone to the new place in West New York, Sancocho's, Sancocho or something like that.

I've been to several Colombian Restaurant, and I have to say by far these has been one of the best in Jersey. The food was great with flavor,good portions, and also great deserts.
