We love coming here for the food. The sushi is high quality as well as the presentation of the food. Love watching them fix my food on the grail, the food taste great as well as good for you. I would recommend this as a special place to go out to eat.

My husband and I used to eat at Nagasaki, but we do not anymore. he last time we were there, the sushi was horrible, and the service was not much better. They were not very busy, and we had to ask the waiter twice for utensils after we finally got our food. We love sushi, but it never seems fresh there. Our favorite place to go now is Zuki. We recommend it to everyone. The food is always great, and we have never left disappointed!

Best place for sushi!

Absolutely the best sushi in the area. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh, varying with the seasons. Jimmy, the sushi chef, makes beautiful and delicious rolls; he's always seemed happy to prepare rolls not on the menu as well. The miso sou ...

I am from Louisville and this place puts our Japanese restaurants to shame. This place is definitely authentic. I have been to Japan and can say this is as close as your going to get in America. I ordered sushi, an en-tray, and red bean ice cream. I ...

I used to eat at Nagasaki all the time, however, after my last experience there, I will NEVER go back. They close down at 2 to set up for dinner at 5, and my family and I walked in at 1:30. It took us several minutes for a waiter to come take drink orders (and there was a BUG in my tea when I finally did get it), we didn't have silverware, and waited almost 40 minutes to get our food and we were the only customers. When we finally did get our food, they staff hovered over us, watching us eat and it was very uncomfortable. They were even making comments about how they needed to leave, and then turned the music off on us. After having our food for about 10 minutes, the HOSTESS comes over and tells us we have to leave because her roomate is sick and she has to go. AWFUL service, and the food wasn't much better. We came back at dinner time, and the manager refused to refund our check after we informed him of what happened. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Don't eat there.

Customers should be aware. A mandatory 18% gratuity is charged on parties of 5 or more. Normally I wouldn't find this uncommon as I've seen similar parties at other restaurants. However, this place considers groups dining together on separate checks as one party. So if you go with friends and your group is over 5 people and you all get separate checks, everyone will be stuck with an 18% gratuity.

The WORST sushi around! The waitress insisted the fish was fresh, but I've had a LOT of sushi and this was NOT fresh! They also would not take the tuna roll off our bill even though it looked bad and smelled even worse! The hibiachi is pretty good, but something they use always makes myself and everyone I know that eats there sick afterwords. Not my favorite place.

I've eaten at The Nagasaki Inn several times. And everytime I go, I'm always satisfied. The food is amazing. Fresh Sushi, mixed with the Hibachi grill. Fantastic chefs. Soup is great, and everything about it. The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept. Great times is assured.
