Minutello's Restaurant, located in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood, has been an Italian institution for over 40 years. The restaurant is family owned and operated. The menu at Minutello's offers an array of selections, including sandwiches, pasta, pizza, chicken, veal, and seafood. Notable selections include Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Lemon, Broiled Scrod Marinara, Vodka Rigatoni, Gnocchi, and Veal Romano. Minutello's specializes in pizzas, and employs its own special blend of spices, freshly graded cheeses, and sauces. The special New York style pizza is cooked in an Italian Brick Oven and features thick crust made from hand thrown, fresh dough. The restaurant carries a full bar, with an extensive selection of fine wines, specialty beers, and microbrews. The private room accommodates up to 50 guests, and is perfect for special events. An event planning coordinator will help you design the perfect menu for your occasion. Full service off-site catering is also available. Reservations recommended for parties of 10 or more.

The hot wings are good just a little salty, they have a good crispy consistency. There pizza is a lot better than what the other reviewer said. Their prices are ok. The owner is a nice guy.

The pizza is bland, but edible. However, this restaurant is in the basement of an apartment building. I lived for one year in an apartment on the 4th floor. There were incessant cockroach problems.

I love this restaurant. It is a great family-friendly, neighborhood place to go eat. The salads and home made pizzas are my favorite. They also have an awesome selection of draft beers!

save your self the misery and sore disappointment, stay away from this place. i was hoping to find a local neighborhood gem but instead got an ammonia smelling fried fish sandwich, fogettable pizza and paid way too much money for it. the place has a nice old school italian american feel to it but thats where the appeal ends. I was so disappointed.
