The service told the tale for us! We were not bothered by the wait for a table but the servers we encountered were either very inexperienced or poorly trained (or both). We did not get what we ordered and waited a long time for a replacement order. In the end the quality of the food was quite mediocre and that along with the poor service clinched our resolve not to return. This had been our second chance trip to this restaurant after having been there when they first opened and not having a good experience then. Sorry, we won't be back! It's unfortunate because Puyallup could really use a top quality restaurant.

The meal we ate was lunch and this was our first visit. Food quality and quanity were average. Salad left a lot to be desired. Service was good. Prices were a little high. Would not go there for lunch again.

Fabulous! place for breakfast! Especially the waffles. It's been around for ages, been gong there for years. The wait for a table can be a little while on the weekends, but it's worth it.

Good food but menu is overpriced...caesar salad for 7.99...tiramisu..7.99 ..spaghetti 12.00 ..if you add any meat to it it..6 more dollars at least... Won't go back. It's good food but I've had better and cheaper at the same time.

Mama Stortini's is by far the best Italian restaurant in the state. The menu is extensive and portions are amazing. I go at least 3-4 times a month and my husband brings all his staff and clients for lunch. I not really sure what these other reviews are about. In my opinion there is no other Italian restaurant. The service is always good. I tell all my friends. You should try it too.

Mama Stortini's has wonderful ambience. It is likely one of the nicer eating establishments in the Sumner - Puyallup area, but since when does portion size equal quality? The portions are huge and if that is what is important you, then you will like it. However, the quality of the food is just not there. My mixed green salad was no more than romaine lettuce topped with some cheese, stale croutons, and diced tomatoes. My daughter's pizza was not made on fresh crust. It was a food service tortilla. (This from a pricey Italian restaurant!) My son's noodles and butter with cheese came without cheese on it. My canneloni that was described as containing chicken, artichokes and mushrooms only contained some very dry chicken cubes and no other ingredients that I could ascertain. I did not even see cheese in the canneloni. It was like a chicken burrito with nothing else in it but chicken. Strangely enough, it was presented with Alfredo sauce on one side and I must admit, a very homemade tasting marinara on the other. I did not understand that presentation nor did I understand the side of spaghetti that came with it when the canneloni was the size of a mondo or super burrito. Mama Stortini's just is not worth the money. I much prefer Vince's in Federal Way. Way better quality, decent prices and regular sized portions. Mama Storini's may have a classy looking establishment and huge portions, but man, I will take quality over quantity any day.

The menu is extremely expensive, and you are not receiving the food equivalent value for your hard earned dollar. The menu needs to offer a larger choice, as it is currently very limited and over priced.

I would suggest having some veggie sandwiches or soups on the menu, not alot of choices for healthier eating, and the service was sadly slow, food was luke warm when it arrived. Had higher expectations.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience. The service was quite poor which is sad because the food is generally good and the restaurant is very nice. Sadly, would not return.
