One thing that comes to mind when I think of Maggie's Buns is CINNAMON ROLLS. Huge gooey and delicious cinnamon rolls. This place has down to earth, small town sensibility with down town attitude. This place is owned and ran by great people and is a must-eat-at destination.

I absolutely love this place. I stopped in one day for breakfast on my way to the beach and I have been in food heaven ever since. The food has so much flavor and the portions are incredible. This is my comfort food place. I really like the buns...Of course! and the lunches are really good as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food, a great ambience and fabulous service.

We have used Maggie's Buns for years for catering small events. The food is consistently excellent, service fantastic, and cost reasonable. I appreciate that Maggie and her staff are willing to help us figure out what and how much food to order. She's very flexible and will fix all or part of the meal. Maggie frequently throws in the little extras that make all the difference. She goes out of her way to take care of her customers. I recommend Maggie's with the highest of praise.

I absolutely adore this place. I love the food and the people. They even have Stumptown coffee which is blessing to be able to get outside of Portland. Their breakfast is to die for too, I totally recommend the buns or the burritos (Warning:they are really big) I also went to a wedding that was catered by Maggie's Buns and it was delicious, gorgeous and served very professionally. Thank goodness for Maggie and her staff, they got the crowd dancing as well! it was terrific. I wish I could get married again just to have her cater it. Trust me, its not your average place, it's a 1000 times better!!!!

I was at a wedding just last weekend which was catered by Maggies Buns. I am so in awe with how much three servers were able to do, and still handle themselves professionally. Maggie and her two daughters helped with the set up and take down, they cleared plates while dancing with the crowd, and the table looked absolutely beautiful. In addition to the food being amazing, full of taste, the table was decorated with bright flowers and dishes to match the wedding colors. I just don't think I have ever seen the food take such a supporting role, and it really seemed to being everyone together. We could all talk about the food, we were pulled onto the dance floor with the staff, and the bride and groom were able to relax. I just wanted to sing Maggie's praises and recommend her catering for any event!! Good job Mag's!
Oh and I just found her website if you want to look at it, I think it's new. Maggiesbuns.com

Coming from a person that eats out quite a bit, I absolutely loved Maggie's Buns. It is a great little cafe with so much good food, friendly service and a great ambience. It is very unique and a hole-in-the-wall type of place. I love there cinnamon buns and if you can brave it get the GFN latte..trust me! :) They serve delicious Stumptown coffee which is almost impossible to get outside of Portland. I adore this place...just try it!

Went to a wedding where Maggie's Buns catered and the food was fine...nothing to write home about. The service was awful! The staff thought they were part of the wedding party and did more dancing than serving and they did not set up or tear down as found later that they were suppose to do. The bridal party ended up cleaning up after them...the serving staff left without notice. They were very unprofessional.

I love this restaurant and eat there often. Fun atmosphere, hardworking and friendly staff. The lattes are usually better than Starbucks and the buns are to die for (get it with frosting!).

I have lived in FG for 7 years and have yet to see all the tables clean. Food is good - espresso is BAD. Service is poor.....perhaps it is because I am not a teenage boy or a family member! Ambiance is overdone (seen this a million times in Portland and everywhere else).

Maggie's buns is the type of restaurant that you never want to leave; the food is so good you want to stay until the next meal, the staff is so friendly you want to stay and chat all day, and the atmosphere is so comfortable that you feel like you're in your own kitchen. I would also recommend Maggie's for catering, the food is amazing no matter where you take it and her catering staff are friendly and proffessional.

You walk into Maggie's and it's like coming home: totally relaxing and cozy. There is a surreal atmosphere about the place, partly due to the cloud-painted ceiling, but mainly due to the fact that each chair is unique, as if purchased one by one at different garage sales and then painted in bright colors and glitter. Strange signs hang on the walls, such as, "Desserts is Stressed Spelled Backwards" and, "Happiness is a Man in Your Kitchen--Doing the Dishes!" There is a severed arm holding a bouquet and a picture of a woman wearing a giant bagel.

Maggie's cinnamon buns are outrageously good. Coffees are strong and tasty. The lasagna is to die for. The wait staff treat you as if they are your good friends and have invited you over for lunch. Tip them well!

Discover Maggie's Buns. You'll go back.

Look, I moved to Forest Grove about a year ago, and finding Maggie's Buns was like discovering that magic and food could coexist in an urban environment in the 21st Century, just the way it used to back in the Sixties. Everyone smiles at everyone else. From the moment you open the door, you feel immersed in a sense of reverie and ... it's almost like entering a church where they serve food and good coffee. Maggie's is a stone's throw from Pacific University, but it exactly captures the spirit of the Sixties with an upbeat, humorous 21st century decor... thanks to Maggie's common sense about letting the young decorate the place. You'll swim in the ambiance.
Maggie's Buns is a work of art, disguised as a Monday through Saturday restaurant. Don't miss it. It isn't just about the food.

My girlfriend and I try to make MB a weekly breakfast experience. The staff is not just friendly and fast, but human. You'll feel like you're being served by Goddess Herself, when the food comes. It's a totally feminine and friendly environment. The coffee is hot, strong, sweet, and good. The food is not just tasty but indescribably satisfying, right out of your childhood memories when you still had taste buds. When we come for breakfast on Saturday, the place is inevitably full of bicyclists, multiple clans of Spandex-clad exercise freaks who seem to be the sweetest and most considerate class of sport nuts in the universe... and they sure as hell know where to have a great breakfaston a Saturday morning. Maggie's is the kind of place that Rod Serling should be standing outside, talking to the camera and smiling. Not just magical or surprising, but a lot of fun. If you haven't eaten breakfast at Maggie's Buns in Forest Grove, Oregon, do so soon, so you can tell your grandchildren that You Were There.

And when you've had enough good food, good music, pretty girls and good atmosphere, kindly tip heavily, brothers and sisters. Think of it as a tithe to a whole generation of American youth. This is a place staffed by budding geniuses, students working in the service sector, old souls all. I will never get over the feeling that we'll hear more from them, in the days to come.

But don't take my word for it. Go there. Order something. Find out for yourself about Maggie's Buns.

This is a fabulous place. You can not call this place a canned restaurant in any way. The food is the best. Home made and always tasty and different. Ambience, what can I say it is funky and comfortable. The staff and owners are friendly and inviting. If you have not been there you need to go.
