Flagstaff Restaurant Guide

Went to the Chicken Shack during the Cardinals Training Camp - food is AWESOME!!! The chicken is yummy and they make their own special dipping sauce. They give you a lot of food for a low price! I would definitely go back! As a matter of fact, I will be back there in a couple of weekends! Anytime I am in Flagstaff, I will have lunch there!! DELICIOUS food.

The food is exceptional. The price is right. The atmoshpere is fun! The owners do a lot to support the community. What more could you ask for?

Try it! I did based on the reviews I read. Food is terrific. I talked to the owner for a while and he told me everything is prepared on site. Chicken is hand-cut, and the sauces (BBQ and dipping) are homemade and delicious - no prefab stuff. I especially liked the BBQ beans side dish. Highly recommended. Local owner from NAU emphasizes quality in recipes and preparation. Atmosphere is "hole in the wall" takeout (but you can eat in) nothing fancy, but the food is excellent and a great value. I will go back for sure.

Heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out, I have been hooked ever since. The chicken is amazing, with their own special dipping sauce. Employees are ALWAYS friendly, nice hometown feeling. Bottom line is great food! Can't go wrong, especially for the price!

I don't know who wrote the description of this place, but half of it couldn't be further from the truth. You want the truth - somewhat crummy location - limited menu - BEST chicken strips I've ever had EASILY. The fries - not sure how they did it but they tasted fresh and like real potatoes. Eric provided off the charts service and friendliness.

I'm going back for the wings today,and try some of there other tasty looking side. I actually called several friends just to recommend the place.

They need to offer a bone in version of KFC because I'm sure it would be a no comparison winner.

Warning they do use Peanut oil for you nut freaks out there.

Best chicken strips I have ever had, no question about it! If you're visiting Flagstaff, and craving chicken, skip KFC and eat at Louie's.

Reeeeally good chicken. When I want chicken strips I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's food made well for excellent prices.
