Scottsboro Restaurant Guide

When we asked the staff at Comfort Inn where the best place was for breakfast,they said WITHOUT hesitation Liberty AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Except after we ordered we wished that we had room for lunch. The lunch menu looked so good and the plates they brought out confirmed. The staff was friendly and service was very good. You could tell that it is a place for all the locals as the staff came out and talked to customers and made everyone feel like they were eating at home. And ANGIE this one's for you.......5 STARS! You were great!

Simply a wonderful place. Good people, good food, good service,,,,,,,,,,,,, what more can you ask for.

Been eating at the Liberty for over 30 years. If you like good country cooking in a friendly atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Down home and Southern style, just like Momma used to cook.

Liberty is more like a diner then a restaurant. The menu is short but covers all the bases. If I was rating them on Breakfast alone, I would give them 4 stars. The breakfast combo normally includes grits, biscits or toast, home frys, meat and eggs. The breakfasts are always freshly made. Lunches are meat and three (pick your meat and three vegtables or skip the meat and pick 4 vegtables.) The vegtables are cooked in tradtional southern style.
Supper can be a mixed afair. The salad bar is small but fine. The Stakes can be a little fatty or they can be good. Fried Chicken will take 20 minutes and a times, if other have ordered something that is quick to cook, their meal might come out a little cool.

All and All great breakfast, good lunch, diner good at times.
