Andrea Reusing is the chef-owner of Lantern. Her goal is to present simple, authentic Asian food using seasonal and local ingredients. We had high expectations but Lantern was only average in it's delivery. To start with the fresh squeeze lemonade was too tart and the spring roll appetizer was a bit soggy. My cod fish special was more like and odd fish special because the ingredients just didn't work together. The only saving grace was my wife's red curry tofu dish as that was very good. Overall it was nice to try it once but there is too many restaurants in Chapel Hill to make a repeat visit.
