Our organization had a event at the La Villa Ristorante on June 27, 2009. It was the worst experience we ever had. Tony (owner) was terrible. The food was awful, the service was awful. We asked for more bread and the waitress stated they had no more. We asked for more coffee and again the waitress stated there wasn't anymore coffee. The food was 2 hours late @ 5:20 the salad was out with just 1 roll and at 7:00 the dinner came out. We requested chicken nuggets for the children, Tony (owner)wanted us to pay $32.00 for nuggets. Unbelievable we should have gone to McDonalds for the kids but we didn't pay that amount we ending up paying 17.00. Our guests (225 people) requested soda the waitress told them they had to pay $5.00 and some of the waitress took the money after we paid for the soda. It was just awful and we will never return. Please, anyone that wants to go to the La Villa in Hamilton to book anything personal or for your organization or even a wedding, "DON'T DO IT" I won't book a dog show at that location. The outside is dirty and the bathrooms smell. But the worst thing is the owner has no manners, is rude and he promises you the world but at the end it's HELL!!!!It's just awful, I just don't understand how this man stays in business. Good Luck!!! anyone that goes to this awful place.

The service at La Villa is absolutely horrible! We had our wedding reception there on 6/6/2009 and Tony promised a lot of things but was not prepared to deliver on them. The kid plates are overpriced at $47/child for chicken fingers that our children disliked. They had possibly only 2 bartender for over 225 people. And the servers for the cocktail hour continued to run out of food and our guests had to continually ask them to refill the trays. And dinner was servered extremely late like 1 hour before ending and we had to remind them 3 times to cut the cake before our guests left. Absolutely Horrible Service. Be smart and take your money elsewhere.

Service is horrible! Tony almost ruined our wedding reception as our guests began to leave early without dinner. It was severely understaffed and dinner was served almost 4 hours into a 5 hour reception. We had to request several times to cut the cake and serve to guests before anyone else left without eating. Our "promised" bridal suite was not ready and available when we got there and they stuffed us into a side room. The entire flow was uncoordinated and un-prepared. Tony will promise a lot of things but not deliver once he gets your final payment he will turn. Do have yourself a favor and have your reception elsewhere - really.

We had a wedding at La Villa in August of 2008. The cooperation of Tony and the decorators made the room look so beautiful. The food was excellent and even to this date our guests are talking about the lovely meal. The food was served on time, it was nice and hot and the presentation was great. The dedication and special care you gave to make sure the grounds, reception room and ballroom looked its best is evident by the wonderful pictures we have to show for it. The staff members were great and worked so diligently that night. It was a great experience that will be remembered.

DO NOT HAVE A RECEPTION HERE! Used to be run by a Tony Spadaccin, worst host ever, he won't even attend to help out and the staf is there to make a buck. Don't expect all of your ordered food to be served, it won't be, and likely will come 3-4 hours into reception. The grounds there are not kept up at all. Asking for trouble as the service is piss-poor at best!!

I attended a wedding at La Villa August 2008 and was blown away by not only the food, but the presentation, the staff and the decor was beautiful! The grounds and ballroom were immaculate and myself, along with friends and family of the bride and groom could not be more pleased. Thank you La Villa for making my friends a lovely day to start their marriage!

OMG! Where do I begin! Our daughter got married/reception there in Sept 2008. We should have known when prior to the event phone calls were never returned.Day of we arrived to see landscapers loading their mowers on the truck and no chairs set up by the arbor. Weeds everywhere in the parking lot. Pastor & Organist had to move a garden hose from the ceremony site. Wedding guests moved 5 or 6 laundry bags that were blocking the entrance doors. Pictures show a ceremony littered with discarded plant flats & pots. Beer & Water bottles strewn on the ground around the gazebo. It took 2 hrs for meal to be served (1 hour prior to end)We addressed our concerns about this prior to the wedding as we had several diabetics in attendance. They would not allow our DJ to play dance music until all meals were served. Great that was more $$ thrown away! They cut the cake but no guests said they got any including the parents table. Paid for 200 guests were promised meals for the 14 extra we paid for...Nope! Promised 3 bartenders...nope only 2 one that used his bare hand to scoop things out of a guests drink! Wedding party recived no drinks/food during the cocktail hour as promised! They broke the cake top, promised to replace it...nothing! It is now discontinued! Some guests left to get McDonalds for their hungry kids! A beautiful building, and grounds if taken care of would do well! The food was delicious! But that was the only good things! Stay clear unless you like additional stress!

I have attended three weddings and one company party at La Villa and each time I go, it has been better than the last! The food is great, and that's an understatement. It's really some of the best Italian fare I've ever had. The building is incredible, too. It's situated in a park-like atmosphere with meticulously maintained landscaping, a beautiful gazebo; it's really ideal location for a wedding reception. I can't say enough good things about La Villa.

ATTENDED A WEDDING RECEPTION IN JULY OF 2008-A VERY POOR EXAMPLE OF DINING. I FELT BAD FOR THE FAMILIES THAT PAID FOR THIS RECEPTION. FROM THE FIRST PART WHEN I DROVE INTO THE PARKING LOT AND SAW WEEDS GROWING EVERYWHERE AND MOLD IN THE FOUNTAIN IN THE ENTRANCE OF THE BUILDING RIGHT DOWN TO ONLY 2 BARTENDERS FOR OVER 200 PEOPLE-BARTENDERS WHO WERE SWEATING INTO THE DRINKS SINCE IT WAS SO HOT IN THE COCKTAIL ROOM WHERE THEY TRIED TO CRAM IN 200 HUNDERED PEOPLE. DO I NEED TO COMMENT ANYMORE. DON'T EVEN ENTERTAIN THE THOUGHT OF HAVING YOUR AFFAIR HERE.

Worst place ever, had a reception years back and it was a mess. They don't serve half the food paid for stating it's not included, the place is always a disaster, they are very rude, dinner came with 1 hour remaining in reception? They did not serve the Pastries we ordered or half our appetizers during cocktail hour, the Wedding party was offered nothing and afterwards told, oh well, you got here later then expected? We had to use Consumer Affairs to settle for only money back for missing items...avoid them, they are awful and just don't care.

They didn't deliver on 3/4's of the services they promised for a friends wedding. Appetizers were overcooked and dried out. The roast beef was frozen in the middle. Served the main course 1 hour before the end of the reception. Servers didn't bring anything to the center tables in the room, had to ask them to come back out (after searching for them). Really bad service overall.
