My husband and I went to this restaurant after it was recommended by several people. I'm sure at one time, it had its hay day, but that time is no longer. The food was highly, and I mean highly disappointing. But, before I get to the food, let me tell you about the decor, which was straight out of the TV set of the Golden Girls. The room we sat in was very outdated. The carpet was green and the room was pink floral. I felt like I was eating in my mother's dining room...circa 1987. The food was very overpriced and was not what I expected. The lobster and brioche appetizer was awful. The brioche was cold inside and tasted like it had freezer burn. The lobster was tough. Our steak entree was a let down. The waiter lifted up the silver dome and presented a hunk of meat, drenched in sauce. The only saving grace was the wine. It was delicious, but we paid $110 for it. It better be delicious. Overall, the dinner was highly disappointing, and WAY overpriced.
