With this being my first visit to Jimmy's, I was not totally impressed. First, I don't remember our server ever introducing himself. Although the food was better than average, the lobster in the cioppino was a little tough. My salmon was a bit overcooked but the cilantro sauce it came with was delicious. I had to ask for water 3 times before it was brought to me. I asked for my salad dressing on the side only to find it in my salad when it arrived. We had to ask for napkins as they were not part of the place setting. The plants surrounding us were full of dust. And finally, being seated close to the kitchen, it made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal near closing time with all the noise as the kitchen crew began clean-up...and we noticed they were spraying cleaning liquids so close to the food.
