i have relatives that have to eat here whenever they are in town. the portions are enormous. so this offsets the cost. a chicken fry will easily make two meals. don't look for a salad bar though, it is pretty much a lettuce bar. but they have plenty of vegies on the menu. it is hard to catch the open though, seems like they are closed alot. strange times, or holidays and the like.

The food at times is great but the value discrepancy comes from the girls who check you out and tend to regularly overcharge for breakfast. Often times the ring up the specials as not special and over charge up to $3.00 per time. This is the same practice that took place at the Garland location. I guess when work is slow they pick up the revenue. If you're not watching the bill closely it will happen often. Good food and service but shady on the check out. It was my first and last time to eat at the Rowlett location.
