Restaurant Description
This place is very Japanese, it's fresh sushi, clean surroundings, and they are *always* crowded. Even take-out orders will take a while; if you get there and there is no line, you are fortunate indeed. These people need a bigger restaurant. Their sushi chef is a wonder of efficient motion. Sushi bar seats about 8, the rest is tables. They are not cheap, but obviously they haven't raised prices enough to drive customers away; they only seem to be getting more popular as time passes!Recent Hakata Sushi Reviews

Since Hakata is always full, we have taken to doing take-out orders there. They are full at lunch and at dinner - we suspect that if they opened for breakfast they would fill up then as well. Yum!
