One of the longest running establishments in Soulard, The Great Grizzly Bear is synonymous with Soulard history stemming back nearly 30 years. The GGB has kept its traditional brick decor and hides one of Soulard's best secrets - it's "Bear" garden (Patio). There are many tables, an outdoor bar, soft lighting and background music for our patrons' enjoyment.
Not only has the Great Grizzly Bear established itself as an eatery classic but the entertainment on the weekends brings soul, blues, and rock and roll to another level on stage every Friday and Saturday night. Come by on Wednesday nights to meet new people or bring your friends and try your luck at trivia night.

What a great place to get awesome food and check out all the hot sporting events. I can even take my kid as they have a huge gameroom available. My favorite is the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich.

Although the ambience is lacking (sports bar), the food makes up for it. I recommend the Pork Tenderloin sandwich on Garlic Cheese toast. Not for the calorie counting crowd! Onion rings also a plus. Service can be slow at dinner.
