I have visited this restaurant several times over the past year since moving to the area from MA a year ago. It's a bit rustic, but the menu seems to have something for everyone & there are daily specials. There is only one waitress on Sat. night, but she is friendly & attentive. I have tried something different every time and have yet to be disappointed.

I just returned from a wonderful trip to New England and found a great little place on Rt. 6 in Thomaston called The Goose and Gander Restaurant. They specialize in seafood and I had the baked scrod which was fantastic,as were the baked stuffed shrimp! We shared the california salad and had a piece of the homemade apple pie for dessert,Yummy! They don't offer beer or wine, but you can bring your own.The service was very good and our sweet waitress gave us lots of info on the area.We wish we could go back!Maybe they will open one in Mi someday!!
