Saginaw Restaurant Guide

Had a wonderful first time experience! What a find! My 10 year old grandson, my wife and I had a tremendous experience. We did not wait 30 seconds before we were ushered to a grill table...Kind and courteous! Thank you all for such a great time. Barry Stutesman & family Michigan Magazine TV

Excellent food. If you have not tried the shrimp sauce(yum yum sauce)you are really missing out. The cooks are very entertaining. If you are in a hurry you can usually get quicker seating at the privet tables. One of my favorite resturants for sure.

My husband and I make the 45 drive to Gengi's 3-4 times a month. Although we enjoy the food, upon arrival we are asked to wait (even when the restaurant is not busy) for a minimum of 20 minutes...only to find that there are several empty tables and servers standing around talking to each other. Then we are rushed through our dining experience. We have decided that Gengi's doesn't value our time, business (nor our 20-25% tipping rate) and not to go back.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times, and look forward to it everytime. We are just college students, so we always go for the early bird specials. The food is so delicious, and it is a great experience.

I've been to this restaurant numerous times over the last three years and I've become more and more disappointed in the menu which never seems to change. You have the same choices as always, chicken, steak, or some kind of seafood. Switch the menu up already. The chefs do the same shows and routines as always. The meal is rushed to get the next party in the door and every thing is dirty. I watched a chef drop his utensils on the floor and proceed to cook with them after not being washed. All around a disappointment.

4 course meal in 45 minutes!!! an OLYMPIC RECORD!!! appetizer was served after entre was served, and we've never seen soft-shell-crab served "charcoaled" b4?? we mentioned feeling rushed to waitress when she took our dessert order after the chef had just finished preparing our entre,,,'not' interested. "not going back"

My husband and I try to make the 45 min drive every couple of months. We absolutely love Genji's! We have introduces other friends and love it too. If you want to treat yourself to a fun night out just as a couple, a group of friends, or the whole family this is the place to go.

I've been here a few times...the first few times were amazing, however the last time I came to this restaurant my entire family ended up with food poisoning, and I have vowed to never go back again. Good Luck if you plan on going here!

Genji's is an treat for the tri-city area. The food is fantastic with entertainment included. The chef's are authentic making the meal more special.

An upper-class eating experience without the upper-class price. Though most of the dinners range between 20-40 dollars a meal, their lunch prices for portions that never leave you feeling hungry are more then reasonable.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Saginaw!
