Very diappointed in what was suppose to be authentic German food! The price was high for the quality of the food. The owner was very rude and refused to accept a gift certificate that was a few years old yet it did not have an expiration date. She definitely did not make us feel welcome. The wait staff was excellent. The atmosphere was loud yet fun. None of the six people in our party would return to this restaurant.

I found this restaurant on the Internet Restaurant Guide prior to our first trip to the Twin Cities. Sounded interesting. Gave it a try thinking that since there were several restaurants in the area, we could have a few drinks and leave if it didn't look promising.

As soon as we entered the building, we knew we were in the right place.

It was packed with customers. The waiters/waitresses laden with huge mugs of beer and platters of delicious looking food were dressed in quaint German attire. They moved through the crowd with the precision of cruise missiles and were totally undaunted by the "obstacles" around them.

The place was alive with laughter and conversation, sometimes to boisterous levels, but never annoying or interrupting the conversation at our table, unless we wanted to take in the fun going on around us.

The accordion player worked the tables, taking requests and doing a great job.

It's the total package - The atmosphere, the beer and the food came together to perfection. We thought we were in Munich again, except that most people were speaking "Minnesotan" English.

If you're looking for a festive night, authentic German beverages and fantastic food, this is the place! The best I've seen this side of Germany.

Food and beverage at a bargain with stellar service and atmosphere. It is not however the place to take your fiancee to propose marriage, unless you're taking a few hundred of your closest friends. Ausgezeichnet!

I took my Fiancée to this place on a Friday night. It was great! The place was elbow to elbow but it added to the experience. the whole place was singing songs from the Sound of Music and traditional German drinking songs. This is a place where the more the merrier. I would suggests large groups to this place. For the two of us we spent about 60 bucks drinks included (boy you have to like drinking at this place) the Beers are plentiful! It really does feel like Germany. I loved this place and can't wait to go back. Wayne
