Excellent restaurant for adult dining. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff extremely friendly. Portions for entrees were ample. The desserts are also excellent, and very large portions. I was very pleased. Memories of food from my childhood stationed in Germany rushed over me. With such a friendly staff and ambiance, the wait for freshly prepared food does not bother you at all, and allows you to sample their large selection of German beers and wines.

I've been to this restaurant several times and everyone was very pleased with their food. The Spaetburgunder wine was absolutely delicious! I would also esp. recommend the Rouladen. The dessert was yummy. They're supposed to be known for their wonderful desserts. The atmosphere is very nice, only a wee bit kitschy and very personal with lots of pictures of their family. The service was very friendly and efficient. They put on happy birthday music and gave my mom a piece of cake with a candle b/c it was her birthday. In short, I love the place!

You will not find a more authentic German restaurant this side of the Atlantic. You have to save room for the home made deserts and that’s hard to do with the ample portions of the meals. Es schmeckt
