Have gone a few times...pastries are spectacular...almond croissants are to die for..best in ct as good or better than ny....seems as though they went through a transition with their bread but the last time i bought a pumpernickel and rye and they were great...wish they had a bakery in west hartford!

I eat here 3x's week. I compair it to a low key Max-A-Mia's. The chef is creative, the service is good and the food is always fresh.

Good comfort food in large portions. Veal dish was very good but the shrimp dish seemed a bit overdone. Sausage and peppers were fine. Service was attentive, prompt, and pleasant.

Ordered veal Parm very bland no flavor. The appetizer (escargot) much better than meals.

a diner from Avon, Ct.
I bought a french bagette, a loaf of rye bread , and a roast beef sandwich at the First and Last Deli last week and I will never go back again. Both breads I bought tasted like two day old bread (stale) and heavy on the salt. The roast beef was too well done, stale bread (again), veggies non- exsistant and the size of the sandwich was small for the $7.50 I payed for it. I was disappointed and will never go back.
