I often frequented this restaurant by myself (W/F)after work and never had any problems. The food is typical bar far with a groumet twist. It was always fresh, hot, and not-greasy. The menu has a little of everything from great salads, chicken salad w/fresh fruit, YUM!, to buffalo wings and pizza.

Value your life? Very dangerous place to not enjoy a meal. I would not go to Fern's when it's dark outside. After dark this place fills with questionable characters. I wouldn't take my child there for any reason, I was seriously afraid for my life. Places like this should be monitored by the local PD. Indigestion will fill your tummy in place of good food. Explore the many options of St. Paul before entering a very uncomfortable situation where your safety is at risk.
