Very Tasty food, good big portions and affordabe prices. Now the negative: you can't squeeze juice out of the limes, not enough napkins, greasy chips, and for some reason the waitress insisted on talking in Spanish. I ordered in English and from that point forward all our interactions were she in Spanish me in English.

I am from El Paso and plan to visit soon. Living in Houston I constantly crave for those Chico's with extra cheese. If I only had the recipe. I remember the one on Dyer and Washington Park area. There is no place like home when it comes to Chico's.

Yummy! One of the better places to get GOOD "caldo de res" Try the Blue Plate Special, its WORTH the money and then some. Loved it for the food, service and the fact that the staff speaks ENGLISH! Bravo, finally a place you can eat Mexican food without having to pretend you are in Juarez!
