I love this place the food exellent, service is great. There is nothing on the buffet i did not like. All the food taste very good. One of my favorites is the BBQ chicken. all the food is home made and very fresh you must try this place you can take a pick on their web elmagey.com
Well, I must say that this has to be the best place (so far) in Baton Rouge. As a Texacan and living growing up on the border of Mexico, I think I know my Mexican food. The service was perfect.

My wife and I love mexican food. We have eaten at almost every mexican restuarant in Baton Rouge. For the true authenic taste of mexican food El Magueys is the best in town. Also the margiritas are excellent. I would suggest this restuarant to anybody who is looking for the real mexican food experience.
