The best Tex Mex cuisine!!! I have enjoyed the food (including margaritas, cheese tacos, sour cream chicken enchiladas, salsa, guacamole, fresh and crispy chips) for years at El Fenix locations in Dallas. Plano's quality is superb! Go and enjoy!

We have enjoyed El Fenix for over 45 years. Now that we live in Tennessee, we only get to savor their offerings a few times a year. We can highly recomnmend the following locations: Casa Linda and NW Highway near Northpark.

I had a great time. This place is very friendly AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I had 1.25 tacos which were over the top delicious. They have homemade tortillas super super great. I will be returning pronto.

I have no idea what the other two reviews are about. I have eaten alot of mexican in the metroplex and El Fenix without a doubt is one of the best for tex mex. I love the cheese enchildas, the cheese and beef taco, the Queso and the Guacomole. They have super fast service unless you go at high noon on for the Wendsday special. Then the place is packed and the service can be slow, however they try very hard. I would hands down say this is one of the best tex mex restaurants I've eaten at. And I should know, I'm from West Texas, the home of real authenic mexican food.

This place stinks. They make 90% of there food at a comissary (different location) off of Harry Himes in Dallas and truck it in daily from this nasty, and dirty place. The service is 1970's style. slooow. Chips taste like they were made several days ago...shocked they are still in business after all these years. But they pack 'em in for the Wed. especial weekly. LOL Greasy food, poor quality...they seem to cut alot of corners in many things.
