Discover Downtown Raleigh

Fun and excitement is more than just skin deep in Raleigh
Welcome to Raleigh, NC where the fun and excitement is more than just skin deep. Here in capital city of North Carolina you sure can help yourself to a full dose of food and fun. If you are lucky then you will be able to catch some of Raleigh’s annual festivities and if you are in town mid October then you will get a chance to visit the North Carolina State Fair. Downtown Raleigh has a number of historical sites and if you get a chance I would suggest taking the walking tour of downtown. If the weather is bad, then do not fret. You could be well educated with some of Raleigh’s fine museums or you could go blow your mind and eye balls at the local IMAX. This is also the home of the N.C. State Wolf pack, which is well known for its athletic and academic programs. You could even check out the 2006 Stanley Cup champions, the Carolina Hurricanes. If it is a nice day out then come out and tee off at some top-notch golf courses that Raleigh has to offer. Also check out some of the beautiful parks that are conveniently located all around the city. Do not get too tired yet because the nightlife is just staring to heat up.
