Fantastic authentic indian food. The best indian food I've had so far in the USA (I'm british). The place has beautiful, stylish decor so it's a treat to be here. Prices are a little on the high side - none of the main dishes comes with anything, so once you've added rice or bread it adds up. Not a good choice if you want a cheap night - but if you like good indian food you won't be disapointed by the taste. None of the waiting staff are indian, which is not what I'm used to in an indian restaurant, but maybe there are not many indians in San Fran ? Portions are big enough (small by US standards) so you won't be taking any home. Order several dishes and share, so you experience as many flavours as possible.
